"We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ellen Springall and her incredible nonprofit dog rescue, Super B Foundation. Ellen was the very first foster mom for our dog, Beau, and because of her, he was given a true second chance at life. She opened not just her home, but her heart — and that love changed everything for him.
It’s clear that Ellen’s passion for dogs runs deep and is shared by her entire family. The care, patience, and dedication they show is reflected in every dog they welcome into their home. You can feel how much they genuinely love and understand dogs the moment you meet them.
A special place in our hearts goes to their dog, Sage — Beau’s very first friend, (and now forever best friend). Watching that bond form was a beautiful reflection of the safe, loving environment Ellen creates for every dog she rescues.
We are beyond grateful for Ellen and her family, and we feel so incredibly lucky that they decided to start the Super B Foundation. The compassion, commitment, and heart behind this nonprofit make a real difference in the lives of dogs and the families who are lucky enough to adopt them. We truly couldn’t imagine better people to be running a rescue organization."

" If some people go the extra mile in life to help others, Ellen Springall and her family go an extra ten miles!
She helped us replace the gaping hole in our hearts from having to unexpectedly say goodbye to one of our two rescues a few months ago. Though my heart was torn open, I knew there was space for another, and the best way to honor our Penny girl was to open our home to an additional rescue.
I went on the hunt, but did not have to look further than the very first website and the very first face that I saw. Ginger-Ruthie had my heart with her soft brown eyes and big brown spots. I quickly learned that Ellen and her family had rescued Ginger from the pound within 24 hours of her being euthanized due to kennel cough. With huge hearts of love, they took her in and nursed her back to health, both physically and emotionally!
On top of all that, they kept her safe, trained her how to sleep in her own bed at night, reinforced potty training, socialized her with their other family members and dogs, took her on walks, car rides, vet appointments (including getting her spayed), and of course TONS of play time, snuggles, and treats. They even held her for us until we got back from a pre-planned family trip, just to lessen the amount of change for Ginger. Furthermore, they met us halfway so we could bring her home from Southern California to Northern California. While we waited to finally pick her up, Ellen sent pictures, videos, and a full file of notes on her care.
Clearly, Ellen goes above and beyond to provide the best care for her foster dogs!
Since then, I have learned that Ellen is a dog magnet for the lost! She seeks them out and
provides a loving home until she can carefully place them with their forever owners. She treats them like family and when you adopt with Ellen, you will soon feel like part of her long line of “family members” who have been blessed to receive a rescue from her. We can’t thank her and her family enough for all they did for us.
Our home feels complete again and we have the Springalls to thank for that! "
